What this template does

A spin-to-win wheel turns a newsletter sign-up into a small game, which is why it collects more e-mails than a plain popup — as long as it is fair. Here you set the odds yourself and see them as percentages in the editor. The draw happens on our server only after the e-mail is entered; the wheel just animates to the result. Coupon codes never reach the page script, so nobody can pull the best discount out of it. One e-mail address spins once; a second try gets its first result back. Segments without a code are “next time”.

  • Server-side draw after the e-mail
  • Coupon codes hidden from the page script

  • Result in Leads, e-mail alert and webhook

For: Online store

Spin to win for a first store order

A wheel for new store customers: a first-order discount, free shipping or a free add-on in exchange for an e-mail. The codes in the template are placeholders to replace with your own store codes.

Spin before your first order
Enter your e-mail and see what you win to get started. One spin per address.

How to set it up

A new store visitor usually browses a few products, compares prices in another tab and puts the purchase off. The wheel gives them a reason to leave an e-mail right away, and gives you a contact to follow up with. Set it up like this: show it after a few seconds on category and product pages, not in the cart, where the customer is already buying. The segments say “first order” because the codes work best as single-use first-purchase coupons. Important: the codes in the template (e.g. START5-ZMIEN) are only placeholders. Create real coupons in WooCommerce, Shopify or your platform, give them a usage limit and an expiry date, and only then enter them in the wheel. The 15% segment has weight 0 — turn it on once you decide you can afford that discount.

Can I use the codes from the template?
No — they are placeholders. Create your own coupons in your store (ideally single-use, with an expiry date) and enter them in the wheel. ClickMeMaybe does not create or validate coupons.

How many segments can the wheel have?
From 2 to 8. A segment label is at most 24 characters; a code uses capital letters, digits, a hyphen or an underscore.

For: Restaurant

🍰 Spin to win for restaurants

A wheel for a restaurant website: a dessert, a coffee or money off the bill for an e-mail. The guest shows the code to staff on their visit. The template codes are placeholders — set your own and brief your team.

Spin for a treat on your next visit
Enter your e-mail and spin. Show the code to our staff when you next visit.

How to set it up

People open a restaurant website with a specific question: what is on the menu, when are you open, is there a table free. The wheel can turn that visit into an e-mail contact you can later tell about a new menu or a themed evening. How to set it up? Show the wheel on the menu page after a few seconds, and choose prizes that are easy to hand out at the table: a dessert, a coffee, a starter, money off the bill. The guest sees the code on screen and can show it to the waiter. A practical note: ClickMeMaybe does not connect to your till and does not mark codes as used. Replace the template codes (e.g. DESER-ZMIEN) with your own, state the conditions in the copy (e.g. with a minimum bill) and tell your staff how to redeem them.

How do staff check a code is genuine?
The guest shows the code they won. The sign-ups with results are in Leads, but checking and marking used codes is up to you — ClickMeMaybe does not connect to your till.

Will the template codes work?
They are only placeholders. Set your own codes and conditions (e.g. one code per table) and enter them in the wheel.

For: Fitness / gym

🏋️ Spin to win for gyms and fitness clubs

A wheel for a gym or fitness club website: a free visit, money off a membership or a session with a trainer for an e-mail. The template codes are placeholders — replace them and agree how the desk redeems them.

Spin and start training for less
Enter your e-mail and spin. Collect your prize at the front desk.

How to set it up

The typical visitor to a club’s website is someone who wants to start training “next Monday”: they check membership prices, the class timetable and how to get there, but they are still hesitating. A free visit or a session with a trainer lowers the barrier to the first visit more than yet another price banner. The wheel works best on the pricing and timetable pages, after a few seconds. Pick prizes the club can hand out without fuss — the front desk sees the code on the customer’s phone. One thing to keep in mind: “one e-mail, one spin” applies to an address, not a person, so someone with two inboxes can spin twice. So state a condition such as “new members only” and check it at the desk. Replace the template codes (e.g. WEJSCIE-ZMIEN) with your own.

Can one person spin several times?
One e-mail address spins once and gets the same result on a repeat. Someone with several addresses can try again, though, so check conditions (e.g. “new members only”) at the front desk.

Are the template codes ready to use?
No, they are placeholders. Enter your own codes that the desk recognises, or codes from your membership system.

FAQ
Can the wheel be gamed?
The server draws the result and codes are not sent to the browser before a win. The same e-mail on the same wheel always gets its first result.
How do I set the odds?
Each segment has a weight 0–100. The editor shows what percentage of all spins it gets.
Where do the coupon codes come from?
Create them in your shop (WooCommerce, Shopify, etc.) and enter them in the segments. ClickMeMaybe does not generate them.
