Age gate 18+
An “Are you 18?” screen in front of a shop selling alcohol, tobacco or adult content. The answer is remembered; “No” redirects.
The age gate covers the page with a blurred screen until the visitor confirms the required age. There is no X and no Escape: only “Yes” and “No”. The browser remembers the confirmation for a set number of days (30 by default), so regulars are not asked on every visit. “No” goes to an address you choose or shows a message. It is the visitor’s declaration, not an identity check — if your industry requires checking a document, the gate does not replace that.
