What this template does

The classic popup: a window in the middle of the screen on a dimmed page, with a heading, a short text and an e-mail field. Unlike the exit-intent version it does not wait for the visitor to leave — it shows after a set delay (1.5 s by default), after a chosen percentage of the page is scrolled, or after a period of inactivity (30 s by default). On phones a scroll trigger or a longer delay is the better choice, because Google treats a window that covers the content right after arriving from search as intrusive. A visitor sees it at most once per session; after closing it stays away for 7 days (adjustable in the settings), and after a signup for a year. The popup waits until the cookie banner is gone and never opens while another window is on screen. The e-mail lands in Leads, your inbox and your webhook if you set one.

🛍️ Store popup: discount code for signing up

A popup for online stores: a new shopper leaves an e-mail and immediately sees a discount code to copy. It appears after scrolling a product page, not the second they land.

Join our newsletter and we'll show your discount code right after you sign up.
Get my code
How to set it up

Someone who arrives at a store from an ad for one product usually does not know the brand and hesitates before a first order. A discount code for signing up is a simple nudge, and the popup shows it when it makes sense. How to set it up: a scroll trigger at about half the page, so the window does not cover the product right after landing, and the code in the "After sending" field — after signing up the shopper sees it with a copy button. Know the limits before you launch. There is one code shared by every signup, so set usage limits and a minimum basket value in your store admin. The popup does not send newsletters either: the e-mails land in Leads and your webhook, from where you move them into your mailing tool.

Does each shopper get a unique code?
No — everyone sees the same code set in the settings. Set usage limits in your store admin.

Does the popup send the newsletter itself?
No. Signups land in Leads and your webhook; you send the newsletter from your own mailing tool.

🎓 Course popup: free lesson for an e-mail

A popup for online course creators and schools: the visitor leaves an e-mail and is taken straight to a free lesson page. It appears on the sales page after a moment of reading.

How to set it up

A course sales page is long, and most readers will not buy on the first visit. Before they go, it is worth collecting their e-mail in exchange for something that shows the course quality: the first lesson. The popup does this in three steps. It appears after a set time on the page or after the curriculum section is scrolled. It collects the e-mail. After signup it redirects to the address in the "After sending" field — put the unlisted lesson page there. That way nothing has to "arrive in the inbox", because the popup sends no message to the visitor. Your follow-up sales e-mails go out from your own system, which you feed from Leads or via webhook. If you run a school for children, remember that it is the parent who signs up — write to them.

Will the popup e-mail the lesson?
No — the popup sends no message to the visitor. Set a redirect after signup to the lesson page and send follow-ups from your own system.

📋 SaaS popup: downloadable checklist

A popup for SaaS companies on the blog and guide pages: the reader enters an e-mail and immediately downloads a PDF checklist or report. It appears after some reading or inactivity, not on arrival.

Enter your work e-mail — the PDF opens as soon as you've signed up.
Download the checklist
How to set it up

In B2B, hardly anyone starts a trial after one article. A specialist googling how to prepare a data migration first needs something to show their manager — a checklist, a template, a report. That is your lead magnet. Show the popup only on the blog (a URL rule in targeting), with a scroll or inactivity trigger, because a reader who stopped scrolling has often just finished the piece. Put a link to the PDF in the redirect-after-signup field, and Leads will show which article each address came from. To be honest: the field accepts any e-mail, personal ones included. Asking for a "work e-mail" in the copy helps but blocks nothing — do the qualifying later, in your CRM.

Does the popup reject personal e-mail addresses?
No — it accepts any valid address. Asking for a work e-mail in the copy is only a hint to the reader.

FAQ
When does the popup show?
After a set time on the page, after a chosen percentage of the page is scrolled, or after a period of inactivity. You pick the trigger in the widget editor.
What does the visitor see after signing up?
Your thank-you text, a coupon code to copy or — if you set a URL — a redirect to that page.
How is it different from the exit-intent popup?
Exit-intent waits for the cursor to leave the top edge of the page. This popup shows earlier: after a delay, a scroll or inactivity.
